Grading and Reporting
Grades reflect demonstrated mastery of course standards. Teachers provide timely feedback and multiple opportunities to demonstrate learning.
- Standards-aligned grading scale (A–F) for grades 6–12; standards-based reporting for K–5.
- Progress reports issued mid-quarter; report cards each quarter/trimester.
- Make-up work permitted for excused absences within a reasonable timeframe.
Promotion and Retention
Decisions are based on multiple measures including academic performance, assessments, and teacher/parent input.
Graduation Requirements (High School)
- English: 4 years
- Mathematics: 3 years (including Algebra I)
- Science: 3 years (Biology, Physical Science, one elective)
- Social Science: 3 years
- World Language/CTE/Fine Arts: 2 years
- Physical Education: 2 years
- Electives: as needed to reach 220 credits

Cheating, plagiarism, or facilitating academic dishonesty is prohibited and subject to disciplinary action.
