Technology Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Purpose

District technology exists to support teaching and learning. Users must act responsibly, ethically, and legally.

User Responsibilities

  • Keep passwords secure; do not share accounts.
  • Use district devices and networks for educational purposes.
  • Respect privacy and intellectual property.

Privacy and Monitoring

Users have no expectation of privacy on district systems. The district may monitor, access, and archive data as permitted by law.

1:1 Devices

Students issued devices must keep them charged, undamaged, and return them at end-of-year or upon withdrawal.
